FORTÉ - Wireless Handset
The Sky Connect FORTÉ wireless telephone system allows maximum flexibility for cabin class aircraft. The system utilizes a base station that supports up to 4 handsets. The base station can also be paired with a second Sky Connect Iridium system to make two phone lines available to all wireless handsets on-board. Worldwide coverage using the Iridium satellite network means no dead zones, handoff issues or dropped calls. No matter where in the world you are you will have continuous coverage at very affordable rates. The handsets can be used as an intercom for communication between the cockpit and cabin. In addition, the wireless handsets can be used up to 300 feet from the aircraft, allowing use on the ground. The lightweight cordless handsets provide 10 hours of continuous talk time, with 150 hours of standby time. The handsets stow in charging cradles which are available in flush-mount (drink rail) or surface-mount (bulkhead) styles. Handset Features: - 2.4GHz Digital Spread Spectrum
