TAKOMA PARK, MD, Jan. 5, 2006 — Sky Connect, LLC, has again expanded its sales team, naming Jeff Taberner manager of West Coast Sales. Taberner will work directly with Sky Connect distributors as well as emergency medical services, state and local government agencies, and general aviation operators of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft.

Sky Connect is the leading manufacturer of Iridium-based aircraft tracking and telephone systems for rotorcraft, fixed-wing, and marine applications.

"Jeff's industry experience and knowledge will help us further expand our domestic market presence," said Wiley Loughran, senior vice president, sales and marketing for Sky Connect. "His knowledge of both aviation and avionics make him an excellent addition to our team."

Sky Connect also announced the appointment of Craig Moen as sales manager. "The market for affordable tracking and voice communications is expanding rapidly, " said Loughran.  "Our company is growing accordingly."

Taberner most recently served as regional sales manager for Edmo, an avionics and aviation supply distributor. Taberner was the Mayor of Fairfield, Wash., from 2001-2005.

More than 1,500 aircraft around the world are flying with Sky Connect equipment.

Loughran, Taberner, and other members of the Sky Connect team will be available to meet with customers and members of the news media in Exhibit 1796 at the upcoming Heli-Expo convention, Feb. 26-28 in Dallas, Texas.
