Aerospace and communication industries veteran Rick Castorena has been named Midwest regional sales manager for Sky Connect, a world leader in satellite communications systems for aircraft, marine and ground-based applications.
Castorena brings 30 years of experience in aerospace and communications, most recently as national sales manager for International Communications Group and DHP Aviation. He also worked in sales management positions with Jeppesen and AirCell.
As the phenomenal growth in the demand for Sky Connect's products and service continues, Castorena will focus on expanding and strengthening Sky Connect's dealer network throughout the mid-west region. Avionics dealers will be the key sales channel for Sky Connect's newly introduced Forté package of integrated low cost cockpit and cabin communications solutions, providing dealers with expanded choices to offer their clients.
